Breaking: FUTO Short Down Indefinitely As Student Vandalise School Properties Worth Millions

The Federal University Of Technology Owerri (FUTO) has been short down indefinitely. The School Governing Council took the decision to safeguard lives and properties as Violent Student are demonstrating against the new school fees increment and harsh academic environment.

FUTO Students has been demonstrating peacefully since yesterday over the new school fees increment, however the protest went out of hand this morning when Mr. ┬áCollins Rocha’s (forma SUG PRO ) was arrested by the police.

His arrest caused an uproar in the school as Collins has being  the voice of the students for the pass few weeks since Prof. FC Eze. Assumed office as VC.

The New VC has increased virtually all the fees in Futo just barely 1month in office.
The protest yesterday was peaceful. Today was suppose to be just a meeting to talk on how to go about the protest and how to do it peacefully. While the students where meeting, men of the security operatives came and arrested their leader.
The students believe the former VC. Asiabaka understand them.

“This VC, FC Eze is too heartless. He’s not up to 3months in school and he’s major impact is to triple all the fees and the school is in very bad shape. Hostels has no beds”. Chioma Onwuka, a student lament.
